Garlic Planting, Harvest & Storage Charts
Charts for TAS, VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD, SA & WA have been tailored to show the garlic groups, harvest and dates for those states.
We are very lucky in Tasmania to be able to grow the most diverse range of garlics in Australia. Our naturally longer winters and cooler springs and summers allow us to grow all garlic groups, except the tropical garlics.
I have created these charts to make it easy to determine when to plant and harvest by garlic group and to show the natural storage of each.
There is also a reminder to remove scapes for those groups where the bulb size is improved by the removal.
