Garlics that can be grown in climates that have longer, colder, wetter Winter and late, slower Spring conditions. Where Winters have between 8-12 weeks where both day and overnight temperatures are below 14 degrees C and Spring temperatures are cooler and wetter and are usually between 22 – 30 degrees.

The strongly bolting garlics with fewer and larger cloves love these cooler conditions – allowing Glazed Purple Stripes, Marbled Purple Stripes, Standard Purple Stripes to grow well. Even the Cold Climate Porcelain and Rocamboles can grow well in these regions.
